How will the courts work?

A number of measures have been taken in connection with introducing the state of emergency by the regional court. Local courts are recommended to: conduct legal proceedings remotely using IT technologies (VKS, TrueConf mobile application); postpone consideration of court cases for which procedural deadlines have not arrived (including by suspension, adjournment, extension of time, etc.); to cancel visiting court hearings, criminal cases and materials with a shorter resolution period (materials examined by investigating judges, cases of expedited, writ, conciliation proceedings, etc.), administrative cases should be carried out in conditions of maximum isolation and security for those involved; in criminal cases and materials, administrative cases in which persons are accused in custody, detained, arrested, the participation of these persons shall be ensured only by means of the videoconferencing without escort to the court building; in order to ensure the timely start of the court session, establish in each court schedules for the consideration of cases and materials using the videoconferencing.
