Regional workshop “Development of functional literacy of learners in the process of preparing for MODO (monitoring of learners’ educational achievements)”

Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a workshop called “Ways of developing functional literacy of primary school learners” within the framework of the spring vacation school.  

The goal of the workshop is to provide methodological support to primary school teachers, to familiarize with the experience of primary school teachers of Y.Altynsarin Secondary School No. 39 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

Within the framework of the workshop program, the following teachers of primary grades of Y. Altynsarin Secondary School No. 39 showed the systems of development of mathematical, natural science, reading, mathematical (logical thinking) literacy to prepare for MODO - I.A. Shatobina, A.A. Kamolikova, Yu.V. Bezprozvannykh, A.B. Jumazhanova, A.B. Malgazhdarova, E.A. Demchuk, A.O. Aliyeva, N.B. Karibayeva.

During feedback, the participants expressed their views and suggested holding workshops in the future.
