Meeting of Methodological Council

On March 10, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the annual plan, held a meeting of the Methodological Council.

The meeting of the Council was attended by heads of Methodological Units of District/City Education Departments, deputy headmasters for educational and methodological affairs of regional educational organizations, the representatives of Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region, the branch of the Institute for Professional Development of East Kazakhstan region of Orleu JSC, Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and methodologists of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

Regarding the issues on the agenda, Acting Director of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. S. Jakupova made a presentation on the topic “Results of the Center's activities for 2022 and priority tasks for 2023 as part of implementing the Education Development Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026.”

G.S. Zhumanova, director of the branch of the Institute of Professional Development of East Kazakhstan region of Orleu JSC and Acting Director of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city V.S. Pak spoke about the priority areas of advanced training courses for teachers and educational programs for 2023.

Director of Education Quality Assurance Department of East Kazakhstan region Z. A. Makhsutova briefed on the law “On the organization and holding the state certification in educational institutions”. She also outlined the shortcomings that preschool and secondary educational organizations can face during the state certification, as well as indicated methodological ways to solve them.  

A methodologist of Pre-School Preparation and Primary Education Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region A. K. Kyrykbayeva spoke about the results of approbation of the project “Competence Center” Growing Point”, “Two teachers in the group of pre-school preparation during a day”.

1. A. Isayev, head of Educational Work Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, spoke about the progress of the implementation of Reading School Project for 2021-2025 and the results of the work carried out in this direction, who outlined the priority areas for the implementation of the project from now forth.

In order to improve and unify the work of methodological units, Deputy Director for educational and methodological work of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. Z. Abetayeva determined the key indicators of methodological activity for the heads of district, city methodological units. She presented a structural draft of the annual plan for improving the education quality and improving the competencies of teachers as methodological support. 

The speakers provided comprehensive responses to participants’ questions.
