Results of Regional Table Tennis Olympics of Special Olympics Movement

On March 1, 2023, on the Gratitude Day, in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan Specialized Children's and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve in Table Tennis (a Tennis Center) hosted the Regional Table Tennis Olympics of Special Olympics Movement.

The objectives of the Olympics are: promoting the Special Olympics Movement; involving new athletes with intellectual disabilities in sports, their socialization and integration into society.

The competition was attended by teams of medical and social institutions (MSI) of special schools, as well as secondary schools and colleges.

Age of participants: 12-15 years of age, 15-22 years of age.

The Olympics was held in accordance with the sports rules of Special Olympics Inc.

According to the results of the competition in the team event, the winners were:

Among girls:  

12-15 years of age:

I place - the team of Center for Support of Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district;

II place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 8, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

III place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 1, Altai town.

15-22 years of age:

I place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 8, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

II place - the team of the Center for Support of Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district.

Among boys:

12-15 years of age:

I place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 8, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

II place - the team of Center for Support of Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district;

III place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 1, Altai town.

15-22 years of age:

I place - the team of the Center for Support of Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district;

II place - the team of Ak Niet Boarding School, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

III place - the team of Special Boarding School No. 1, Altai town.

The teams that took І, ІІ, ІІІ places were awarded cups and diplomas, the players were awarded medals of the corresponding degrees.
