THE ANNUAL CHARITY ACTION “ZHUREKTEN ZHUREKKE”

The annual charity event “Zhurekten Zhurekke” started on March 1, on the Gratitude Day, and will last until May, 31 of this year.

The goal of the action is to involve every citizen in charitable activities, in their implementation, by joint efforts to help fulfill the cherished desires of our children and adolescents.

The action’s participants: children with special educational needs (disabled), from large families, tutorial families, where guardians are grandparents, persons of other vulnerable categories, other low-income families living in East Kazakhstan region, with incomes below the living minimum wage, whose parents are disabled.

As part of this action, Education Administration considers the following children’s requests: to buy essentials: clothes, shoes, books, educational games, toys, sports equipment, other items and things related to the creative development of a child or teenager, which they can’t get through state institutions.

It’s not considered children’s requests regarding the purchase of cars, apartments, household items (such as dishes, furniture, chandeliers, carpets, etc.), long use and expensive items, as well as the purchase of expensive tickets for treatment and excursions abroad.

Requests regarding the allocation of money for expensive operations, the purchase of medicines, etc., are not accepted for consideration; as well as those within the framework of the state social being in the sphere of executive authorities.  

Sponsors can send their proposals for fulfilling the wishes (requests) of children and adolescents to an education department of the district (city) for their further consideration and contact with needy families.

Over 16,000 wishes have come true for just 7 years of the action. The children’s requests were fulfilled with the active sponsorship of commercial and a number of other organizations, individual residents of the region. The sponsors were peasant farms, medium and small enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and others.

With the help of caring residents of our region, all the wishes of the little residents of East Kazakhstan come true.
