2022-2024 Multilingual Education Development Project Progress
Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is implementing a Comprehensive Plan for Multilingual Education Development for 2022-2024.
Leading teachers of language disciplines are awarded every year, as part of implementing the Plan.
Among them are an English teacher of Lev Gumilyov Gymnasium No. 38 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region Irina Yu. Labukova and a teacher of School-Gymnasium No. 12 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Kulzira Zh. Mukhamadiyeva.
Irina Yu. Labukova is a creative, modern teacher, a leader in the promotion of innovative technologies.
She makes active efforts to modernize the educational process: she developed tests, simulators, methodological materials for preparing learners for the SNT in English, the author's programs of the following courses “Country Studies”, “Guide-entrepreneur” for the 10th-11th graders, purposefully updates methodological and didactic materials.
Irina Yuryevna successfully participates in the international professional competitions. She is a finalist of the Kazakh-American competition of English teachers and regional studies of the USA under the ACCELS program. Winner of the International Competition of English Language Teachers (IREX). Passed advanced training courses under the international program TEM, USA Alabama State University, she is an “Honorary Citizen of the State of Alabama”.
She showed high results in the international exam and received the CELTA certificate (Pass B). This certificate gives the right to be an international coach. Since 2021, she is a facilitator of the Online Teacher Community Training Program (British Council, Orleo RK).
Irina Yuryevna creates optimal conditions for the development of linguistic talent, language skills, constantly prepares winners of Olympiads and competitions. An individual approach to solving complex pedagogical problems allows her to move away from the template to creative diversity, to predict the results of children's success. Among her learners are the winners of city, regional, Republican, International linguistic competitions and Olympiads. The pedagogical credo of Irina Yuryevna: “There is a miracle in every child, expect it!”
Kulzira Zh. Mukhamadiyeva is a teacher with great teaching experience. She was awarded the Regional Akim's Prize for her contribution to the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for Multilingual Education Development.
She is a member of the working group. She received the International Certificate CELTA (Pass B). This certificate gives the right to be an international coach. She annually prepares English teachers for the international exam TKT. According to the results of the international exam, 60% of teachers show their professional level.
Kulzira Zhakenovna is systematically engaged in self-education, applies new information technologies enhancing the teacher’s professional growth.
The teacher actively shares her pedagogical experience through speaking at meetings of the working group, Methodological Associations of Foreign Language Teachers, conducts master classes at the city and region level, participates in the school innovative work, is a mentor of future specialists (students of universities and colleges).
The teacher actively uses such resources as: Kahoot, ZipGrade, Liveworksheets, Wordwall, Joyteka, websites of the British Council, Cambridge and other additional materials from Internet resources.
