Digital Teacher Project

Digital Teacher Project

There are 342 schools in East Kazakhstan region, including 196 schools with a small number of learners, combined united classrooms and with a specific form of organization of lessons, i.e. small schools. Basically, the number of learners in them does not exceed 30-40 children.

All these schools are located in villages far from urban areas, which do not have ancillary educational infrastructure such as a library or an additional education institution, as well as stable internet connection.

However, the school is obliged to provide its learners with quality education in accordance with the educational standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

That is why ungraded schools need special attention and additional measures to provide quality education.

In 2023, on behalf of Akim D.K. Akhmetov, the region has launched the implementation of the Digital Teacher Project, within the framework of which skilled teachers from full-fledged schools came to aid schools those with a shortage of teaching staff. They teach online mathematics, chemistry, geography, the Kazakh language and literature, the Russian language and literature, English.

One of the first to join the project was Lyudmila V. Bukina, a teacher of chemistry with 39 years of teaching experience, an expert teacher.

Currently, she works at Secondary School No. 7 of Altai town and teaches remotely in an ungraded school of Nikolsk village.

During her work, she was repeatedly awarded diplomas and letters of thanks, both at the district level and at the regional level. Her learners are multiple winners of district and regional Subject Olympiads in chemistry.

The teacher pays special attention to the informatization of chemical education, actively introduces innovative technologies into the learning process, designing lessons using new information technologies and Internet resources, which requires a high degree of professional competence from the teacher. The use of information and communication technologies allows Lyudmila Vasilievna to make the educational process for learners more interesting and creative. The teacher actively uses new forms in her activities, such as: electronic textbooks, books and teaching aids. Children and parents of Nikolsk School have high hopes for this project, because strong and good knowledge is the key to the future success of graduates!
