Results of Future Lawyer Regional Competition among students of technical and vocational education institutions of East Kazakhstan region

On February 27, 2023, in accordance with the action plan of the Regional Social Sciences Methodological Association, the Center for Professional Education of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Higher College of Kazakh-American Free University, held the regional competition “Future Lawyer” among students of 2-3 courses of educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region.

Goal: to identify and encourage the most prepared and competitive talented students studying law.

4 teams took part in the competition: Detective (Higher College of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University), Territory of Law (Kumash Nurgaliyev Higher College), Elementary! (Higher College of KAFU), Territory of Law (Higher College of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University).

The competition included 3 rounds.

At the first round, the teams presented videos on the topic: “My profession is my pride”, at the second round, the participants performed one of the situational tasks in the areas of law, and at the third round, the participants worked practically as criminal law experts.

According to the results of the Competition, the winners in the nominations, Grand Prix and prizes are:

Grand Prix - Team “Detective”, Higher College of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University;

I place - Team “Territory of Law”, Kumash Nurgaliyev Higher College;

II place - Team “Elementary!”, Higher College of KAFU;

III place - Team “Territory of Law”, Higher College of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
