“How to earn a degree without leaving school?”

This year, a new project will be launched across the country – a pilot program for simultaneous education of the 10th-11th graders at schools and at colleges. This project was approved by the Order of the Minister of Education No. 478 dated November 25, 2022 “On introducing a pilot educational programs for the 10th-11th graders of general education schools to earn a degree from technical and vocational, post-secondary education institutions.”   You can take college courses in16 job qualifications.

In our region, 4 colleges will take part in this pilot program: 3 ones in Ust-Kamenogorsk city and one in Kurchum district: Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction College, Kwanson Kazakh-Korean College, Transport and Life Safety College and Boarding School-College of Markakol settlement.

The project will begin in the 2023-2024 academic year and will last for a year and a half. Groups will include the learners who have completed the 9th grade and have voluntarily expressed a desire to participate in this project. College education will be free. The learners will be enrolled without exams, on the basis of an interview.

When enrolling, a tripartite agreement will be concluded: college-school-parent, which will ensure the responsibility of each party for the result of the experiment.

You, of course, will be concerned about the issue of workload. For this reason, in order to regulate the overall academic load - college education will be carried out no more than 4 hours a day, and a separate educational program will be drawn up for these children.

To do this, you need to provide a certificate of completion of grade 9, 4 photos 3x4, a medical certificate of form 075 and write an application for enrollment.

A big advantage of this project is that at the end of education, the learners will receive two documents: a school certificate and a college diploma, which will allow them to start working.
