Regional workshop “Organization and management of teachers’ professional activity as part of Rural School Project. Project activity as an efficient means of creating conditions for creative development of learners”
On February 23, 2023, a regional workshop called “Organization and management of teachers’ professional activity as part of Rural School Project. Project activity as an efficient means of creating conditions for creative development of learners” took place in accordance with the action plan of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, on the basis of Orel Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district. It was held for headmasters and deputy headmasters for educational affairs.
The goal of the workshop is to increase the level of pedagogical skills and professional activity of teachers through the project, as an efficient means of creating conditions for creative development of learners. Dissemination and exchange of experience of Orel Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district on project activities within the framework of Rural School Project.
The workshop was attended by the representatives of Teaching Excellence Center, headmasters and deputy headmasters of schools of the region.
The workshop presented 6 open lessons (mathematics in primary school - 3, the Kazakh language and literature -1, the Russian language and literature -1, biology -1), 9 master classes, 24 projects and coaching.
During the workshop, the following teachers demonstrated their open lessons:
M.O. Isinova, a teacher of biology on the topic “Mi. Mi bolіmderinіn kurylysy men kyzmetterі. Ulken mi synarlary” for the 7th graders;
E.T. Akhmerova, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature, on the topic “O. Bokey “Tortai miner ak boz at” for the 6th graders;
K.S. Saparbayeva, a teacher of the Russian language and literature on the topic “It is a wonderful profession to be a Human Being on Earth” for the 9th graders;
G.A. Alpatina, a primary school teacher on the topic “Sandy zhane arіptі ornekter. Tendeuler. Esepter” for the 7nd graders;
A.M. Katchibayeva, a primary school teacher on the topic “Shamalar olsheu. Ertegiler” for the1st graders;
A.A. Samoilova, a primary school teacher on the topic “Algorithm for doing written multiplication and division with one transition through the position” for the 3rd graders.
At the lessons, the teachers shared their practical experience, showed learners’ knowledge, skills and abilities of using equipped classrooms, and also demonstrated the works on the development of learners’ functional literacy.
Within the framework of the Rural School Project, 24 design works were demonstrated, reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of project activities in the development of learners’ creativity. It was noted that the project activity contributes to the continuous professional growth of teachers, improving pedagogical skills, developing creative and research skills of learners.
In the second part of the workshop, the teachers of geography, biology, English, technology, physical education shared their experience in project activities. The following Master classes were demonstrated:
“Puppet theater as a means of developing a creative personality”; “Hydroponics - life without soil”; “Projects of research work of the club of guides”; “Tourist routes of Katon-Karagai State National Natural Park: English for guides”; “Madeni zhane tіldіk damu: kazaksha uireneiyk”; “Kazakh ulttyk oiyny: kozgalmaly oiyn – asyk; “Zhayau tourism: tugan olkenі tanu zhane turistik dagdylaryn kalyptastyru”; “Artistic wood burning. World of souvenirs”; “Ethnostyle. Kozdin zhauyn alatyn sholak zhendi keudeshe” the school team demonstrated the creative process of learners working on project activities.
Following the workshop, G.M. Boshayeva, a methodologist of Education Management Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region gave feedback, answered questions, wished creative success.
