Regional round of the Republican Olympiad for math teachers “Mathematical Regatta”

On February 23, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional round of the Republican Olympiad “Mathematical Regatta” for math teachers.

172 teachers took part in the district/city rounds of the Republican Olympiad, including 17 math teachers of educational institutions of the region and specialized educational institutions advanced the regional round on a competitive basis.

The winners and prize-winners of the regional round were awarded First, Second, Third Degree Diplomas of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

According to the decision of the competition commission, diplomas were awarded to:

I place - Ilya V. Stepanenko, M. Auezov Secondary School No. 17 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;  

II place - Berikkuly Aralbek, Complex School-Nursery Kindergasten of Education Department of Samar district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region; Aslan Zh. Baigelov, BILIM INNOVATION East-Kazakhstan Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

III place - Galina S. Berlinova, Y. Altynsarin Glubokoe Secondary School of Education Department of Glubokoe district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region. All teachers received participation certificates.  

The winners of the Olympiad (a team of four math teachers) will take part in the Republican Math Olympiad “Mathematical Regatta” to be held on 28-29 March this year in Aktobe.
