Regional Association of Educational Psychologists and Social Educators held a stated meeting

On February 3, 2023, a stated meeting of the Regional Association of Educational Psychologists and Social Educators was held at Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region with the participation of all members of the Association, including the chairs of district, city associations, involving 25 teachers.

The meeting considered the issues on making additions to the annual action plan of the Association, joining the Association by social educators, the ways to solve problems concerning violence, self-destructive behavior of children and adolescents.

During the meeting, the head of Educational Work Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region A.A. Isayev gave recommendations to his colleagues on the major areas of activity of the Psychological Service and the organization of advanced training courses for psychologists and social pedagogues in 2023.  

Ardak K. Kubentayeva, a methodologist of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region briefed on the legal acts regulating the activities of psychological services, including the Order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 25, 2022 No. 377 “On approval of the Rules for the activities of the Psychological Service in secondary education institutions” (the single rule for the activities of the psychological service in the Republic), as well as on the Order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2021 No. 64-n “On the algorithm of actions of educators of educational institutions to prevent and respond to violence against children” in terms of the activities of the School Security Service.

The event was attended by a researcher of the National Institute for Harmonious Human Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.M. Ayazbayev, who shared his experience in improving the education quality.

Furthermore, the meeting elected new members, the chair and secretary of the Regional Association, and adopted recommendations.
