Major principles of “Alumni NIS” – OTANYŃDY SUI, ÄLEMDI ÖZGERT, ADAL BOL” - were voiced during the meeting of graduates of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools at the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main.

“I have been waiting for a long time this great opportunity to tell you my own example how NIS became a real social lift for me and gave me the main opportunities,” admitted Amina Baktiyarova, a student at Hochschule Rhein-Waal:

- I entered the Intellectual School of Ust-Kamenogorsk city from an ordinary rural school named after Kassym Kaisenov of East Kazakhstan region, problems with English and chemistry immediately appeared. I quickly realized that one foreign language is not enough, I became interested in German, already in the 12th grade I passed IELTS for 8.0 and received invitations for a grant to several universities at once, including the Higher School of Economics. I chose Germany, the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, this is in Kleve in North Rhine-Westphalia, I’m studying bioengineering, I dream of leaving my mark on Kazakhstan science, in particular in pharmaceuticals. During my free time I am engaged in creativity, I write poetry in English, I have published two books. In my rural school, I did not even dream about the option to study abroad and such a level of the foreign language. Only NIS gave me such opportunities, at the Intellectual School I believed in myself, imbued with our main principles - responsibility for the country, academic honesty, service to society. Amina's success story is bright, compelling, impressive and… absolutely typical of an NIS graduate.

Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools gave each of them a unique chance in life. All meeting participants are studying at the best universities in Germany, which are known as top universities specializing in biochemistry, digital technology, mechanical engineering, engineering, logistics, and ecology.
