Results of Regional Distant Internet Competition “Local history lesson: Great discoveries of our small Motherland”

On January 24-25, 2023, the regional distant internet competition “Local history lesson: Great discoveries of our small Motherland”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the First Constitution of independent Kazakhstan took place in order to familiarize schoolchildren with local history and environmental education, research and environmental activities, the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of the native land, studying the small Motherland.

The Competition was attended by 76 students of grades 7-9 of general education schools of the region, out-of-school institutions of additional education – the winners and prize-winners of the qualifying intra-school and district/city rounds.

The competition included the following categories:

- We are the people of Kazakhstan, united by a common historical destiny - a competition of short films;

- Potential objects of cultural heritage of East Kazakhstan - identifying the sights of the native land, marking them on the map and determining their scientific or tourist prospects;

- National holidays of Kazakhstan - a creative competition of hand made goods.

According to the results of the work of the jury members, out of 62 declared projects, 30 projects (40 students) took top places:

- First Degree Diploma - 6 projects (8 students),

- Second Degree Diploma - 7 projects (9 students),

- Third Degree Diploma - 17 projects (23 students).

The other participants were awarded certificates.
