Exchange of experience for school development

On January 24, 2023, in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, East Kazakhstan Regional Center for New Technologies in Education of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Stem Academia held a workshop with the participation of school headmasters to exchange experience for development of schools. It took place on the basis of Zerek Center.  

The goal of the workshop: to support the implementation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s instructions to train 100,000 IT specialists, improving the education quality using new ICT technologies, to discuss the ways to continuously introduce and use STEAM technologies, automation and robotics, AI (artificial intelligence) technologies in the education.

Owing to the workshop, the participants:

🔹 Familiarized with the ROQED program and its tools used in learning physics, chemistry, biology;  

🔹 Familiarized with the educational models STEM, STEAM, STREAM;

🔹 Discussed the ways of continuous implementation and use of STEAM technologies, automation and robotics, AI (artificial intelligence) technologies in education;

🔹 Increased their knowledge of blended learning in digital education.
