Online workshop “Efficient ways of working with learners with low learning motivation”

On January 19, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the annual plan, held an online workshop for teachers of history of secondary schools of the region on the topic “Efficient ways of working with learners with low learning motivation”.

The goal of the workshop is to exchange practices on how to use pedagogical technologies, effective methods and techniques to help learners with low learning motivation master school curricula successfully, as well as to prove methodological assistance.

The event was attended by about 100 subject teachers of secondary schools of the region.

During the methodological workshop, the following experts shared their experience of working with learners with low learning motivation:

Anna A. Radchenko, a teacher of history, a teacher-researcher of B. Momyshuly Secondary School of Education Department of Glubokoe district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Working with low achievers in history classes”;

Dina B. Shayakhmetova, a teacher of history, a teacher-moderator of Secondary School No. 42 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Oku motivatsiyasy tomen okushylarmen zhana takyrypty igeru kezіndegі zhumystyn аdіsteri”;

Natalya P. Kolmakova, a teacher of history, a teacher-researcher of Secondary School No. 6 of Altai town of Education Department of Altai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Organization of work with learners with low educational motivation in history classes”;

Daniyar B. Toktarkanov, a teacher of history of Kurchum Secondary School No. 5 of Education Department of Kurchum district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Sabakta ulgerimі tomen okushylardyn kyzygushylygyn arttyruga arnalgan аdіs-tasіlder tiymdіlіgі”;

Dana D. Beisembinova, a teacher of history, a teacher-researcher of Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Efficient forms and methods of working with low-motivated learners while preparing for summative assessments.”

The online workshop was followed by feedback. The participants received answers to their questions.
