Building a virtual school model: the importance of making optimal decisions in management

NIS of Ust-Kamenogorsk city is hosting a training workshop called “Management in an educational institution” based on a new digital product developed by the EdCrunch Moscow Academy and the NIS Center for Teaching Excellence.  

More than 70 headmasters and deputy headmasters of schools of the city and districts are taking part in the event.

- This simulator is a unique platform. It includes 1600 strategic decisions, that is, the management model depends on the decisions made by the school's leadership team. And this, in turn, proves that this site has a huge resource, - says Zhanbota Kabdykarimova, Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence.

Today, the rate of transformation of society and the economy significantly exceeds the rate of transformation of the education system. Deputy headmaster of Specialized IT School-Lyceum of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Natalya Kudashova talks about the importance of mastering new platforms:

School is like a living organism. For this reason, management should take into account all aspects. The simulator that we are studying today covers all areas that need to be taken into account. The content is very user-friendly and understandable.

The course will last three days. As a result, each group will complete the annual work of their virtual school within the framework of one course and, upon completion, successful school models will be named.
