Meeting of Regional Association of School Librarians

On January 5, 2023, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online meeting of the Regional Association of School Librarians in accordance with the plan of events for the winter vacation school.

The goal of the meeting is to enhance the efficiency of implementing Reading School Project by disseminating the experience of the modernized school libraries of the region.

The meeting was attended by chairs of district, city associations, members of the regional association, methodologists of District, City Education Departments, librarians of secondary schools of the region.

During the meeting, the following experts made presentation and shared their experience:  

Svetlana I. Perelygina, Library Manager of M.V. Inyushin Secondary School No. 1 of Serebryansk town of Education Department of Altai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Modernization of School Library as part of Reading School Project”;

Oksana F. Kazitskaya, Library Manager of Secondary School No. 3 of Education Department of Ridder town of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Modernization of school libraries in Ridder town”;

Elena N. Shevchenko, Library Manager of N. A. Ostrovsky Secondary School-Gymnasium No. 1 of Education Department of Shemonaikha district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Modernization of school libraries of Shemonaikha district”;

Sabina E. Erlanova, a librarian of S. Lastayev Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Kitapkhanadagy modernizatsiyalau zhumystary”.

During the feedback, the participants received answers their questions.
