The results of the regional workshop for school psychologists of Ust-Kamenogorsk to test and develop the abilities based on the Qabilet Service

On December 20, 2022, within the framework of the El Umiti Initiative, Daryn East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development on the basis of the Qabilet Service held a regional workshop for teachers-psychologists of secondary schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk city. 

The goal of the workshop is to train school psychologists in methods to effectively test the abilities and analyze the results of 10-11-year-old schoolchildren in carrying out the 1st step, as well as to organize the service on tracking and supporting gifted children to realize their intellectual and personal potential.

Psychologists of the Qabilet Service briefed the participants of the workshop on the theoretical and methodological part of the service’s activities, on the famous and author’s methods for diagnosing abilities and methods for interpreting the results, as well as with instructions for working in the student’s personal account.

The participants noted the methodological usefulness of the workshop and expressed their suggestions for the upcoming workshops.

Following the workshop, the participants received Certificates.
