RESULTS of Republican Debate Tournament for the Cup of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 13-14 December, 2022, the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Additional Education of Astana city hosted the Republican Debate Tournament, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan among debate clubs, totaling 120 participants.

The aim of the tournament is to develop the school debate movement in Kazakhstan and popularize the technology of parliamentary debates, identifying the strongest debate teams of the country.

The tournament site allowed the participants to demonstrate the skills of system analysis, expressing their own position.

East Kazakhstan region was represented by the Kazakh league - ZIYATKER team, Zhanbota D. Berlkhan, Almasuly Merkhat (Sh. Ualikhanov School-Lyceum No. 3, Ust-Kamenogorsk city), the Russian league - Mind Palace team, Marina S. Kazantseva, Vadim E. Naumkin (Regional Specialized IT-School-Lyceum).

According to the results of the tournament, Mind Palace team took III place.

The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
