Online workshop “Professional competence of teachers of Science and Mathematics in the process of continuous education”
The education strategy is about the development and improvement of the professional competence of a teacher who is ready and able to solve professional problems and implement innovative processes.
On December 8, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop called “Professional competence of teachers of Science and Mathematics in the process of continuous education” for the purpose of methodological support.
The speakers of the workshop who shared their experience were:
Indira M. Uvaliyeva, PhD of D. Serikbayev EKTU on “Competencies of moderators of school scientific and Start-Up projects”;
Olga V. Ananishnikova, headmaster, a teacher of Mathematics of School-Gymnasium No. 12 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “LIS technology (bioinformatics and synergetics) as part of the updated content of education”;
Manat K. Boksenova, deputy headmaster for academic affairs of Bozanbai Secondary School of Education Department of Ulan district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Ata-analarmen zhumys zhasauda mugalіmnіn kasibi kuzyrettіlіgіn kalyptastyru”;
Bak-Daulet K. Boranbayev, a teacher of Geography of BILIM INNOVATION East-Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Okushylardyn geografiya panine degen қyzygushylygyn arttyru tasіlderi”;
Tabys Gulzhaz, a teacher of Computer Science of I. Aitykov Secondary School-Kindergarten of Education Department of Ulan district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Natizheli sabak - okushi men mugalіmnіn zhetistikke zhetu zholy”.
During the online workshop, teachers received recommendations on the development of professional skills, culture, updating theoretical and practical knowledge in teaching activities.
The workshop was followed by feedback. The participants noted the relevance and practical significance of the topic of the workshop and received methodological recommendations for further use in their practice.
The event was attended by 100 teachers of the following subjects Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science of secondary schools of the region.
