PRESS RELEASE of Thematic tour “World of Science and Discoveries” among learners of 8th grades of regional specialized schools

Thematic tour “World of Science and Discoveries” (hereinafter - the Tour) for students of 8th grades of regional specialized schools took place from February, 27 to March 1, 2020 in accordance with the work plan of Daryn East Kazakhstan Research and Methodology Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development (hereinafter referred to as the Center).

The purpose of the Tour is to develop students' interest in the basics of geography, their understanding of the specifics of the Olympiad tasks.

Tour Tasks:

- encouraging educational and cognitive activities of students;

- providing students with an understanding of modern science, as a field for own creativity;

- creating conditions for creative work of students;

- creating an adequate communication environment for gifted children;

- training of students in methods of independent work, intellectual discipline necessary for the development of independent thinking, the ability to think independently and creatively.

Thematic tour took place on the basis of the Center on the bank of the Gornaya Ulbinka River.

The composition of the teachers of the Thematic tour includes creative teachers who have prepared prize-winners of republican and international Olympiads.

We invite media interested in covering the implementation of the state program to support gifted children to participate in this event.
