Regional workshop “Peculiarities of conducting project works as part of Rural School Project”

On November 17, 2022, Seitkamza Lastayev Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district hosted a regional workshop called “Peculiarities of conducting project works as part of Rural School Project”, in accordance with the action plan of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

The goal of the workshop is to reduce the gap in the education quality between urban and rural schools, exchanging and disseminating the experience of the school.

The teaching staff of Seitkamza Lastayev Secondary School demonstrated the model of “Successful School” for deputy headmasters for educational affairs, subject teachers of schools of Altai, Samar, Zaisan, Kurchum, Tarbagatai, Ulan districts, rural schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, presenting 54 projects in 15 areas.

During the workshop, the teaching staff within the framework of the projects “Uly ulttyn kazynasy”, “Oinap zhurip, oilanaiyk!”, “Matematika zhane Logika”, “Matematika zhane Biznes”, “STEM”, “Sabynnyn kuramyndagy mai molsheri”, “Hydroponics”, “English day at school”, “Murager”, “Zhasyl darikhana”, using the potential of classrooms equipped in accordance with modern requirements, demonstrated the work on the development of functional literacy, improving the knowledge quality, developing learners’ skills and abilities in the vocational-oriented education.

Hobby groups: Dala patshaiymy, Shalkyma bi ansambli, Bir mektep-bir an, El-nazar teatry, Dombyra dastan, Kuyrshak teatry, Kolenke teatry, Shopper, uiyrmeleri sakhnalyk koiylym korsetti. Little elegante, Kyz zhasauy, Syrmak, Funny slippers, Ulttyk kiimder, Tukti kilem demonstrated the work on the development of national crafts.  

Following the workshop, the methodologist of Education Management Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. M. Boshayeva answered the questions and wished the teaching staff of the school creative success in the implementation of projects.

All participants received certificates.
