“Zhas ustaz: tabyska aparar zhol” Regional Forum for young teachers of secondary schools of East Kazakhstan region
A young teacher at school is an advanced idea, innovation, originality, uniqueness, progressiveness in education.
The School of Young Teachers is the most important cycle of education management, a system that creates conditions for the professional and personal growth of a young teacher.
On November 4, 2022, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with the branch of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held a Regional Forum for young teachers “Zhas ustaz: tabyska aparar zhol”, in order to provide methodological assistance in developing the practical skills necessary for teaching, mastering and introducing modern approaches to the educational process, in order to attract the intellectual potential of young teachers.
In all, 150 young teachers from educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region took part in the Forum.
During the event, the trainers of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, teachers, educational psychologists of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology of Ust-Kamenogorsk city delivered a training “We are one team” to young teachers, created an emotional mood and gave a kind message for fruitful work.
There was a video about the 1st Republican Forum for young teachers, as part of the Regional Forum.
Moderators of the Forum who shared their experience gained from the Republican Forum were the delegates of the I Republican Forum - young teachers from East Kazakhstan region: Adil Anarbekov, a teacher of Marsekov Secondary School; Algali Maksat, a teacher of S. Amanzholov Secondary School of Ulan district; Alena Rakhimova, a teacher of School-Gymnasium No. 39; Nazym Bekzhanatova, a teacher of Oralkhan Bokei Lyceum No. 44; Anna Shvab, a teacher of Menovnoe Secondary School.
Alima Akylbek, Acting Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region welcomed the participants of the Forum highlighting the key role of the teaching profession in educating the younger generation. She emphasized the relevance of the event in the development of teachers who are worthy to be good experts, a teacher, in an era of ongoing improvement of technology and innovation. Then, she wished the participants success in the work of the Forum.
Specially invited speakers who have achieved great success in their profession and contribute to the development of the country were Olympic Champion Olga S. Rypakova, Entrepreneur Mukhtar S. Toibazarov, who shared the secrets of their success, telling interesting and meaningful life stories that contributed to choosing a profession, becoming a successful person.
In their addresses, Headmaster of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Zhupat O. Erniyazova, Director of the branch of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Kulfarida B. Raisova, noted that on the way to becoming a teacher as a good expert, it is necessary to continuously share experience, have an evidence based and diverse methodology.
In the methodological part of the Forum at thematic sites, the trainers of the branch of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and the teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology briefed on the methods and techniques of functional literacy, designing lessons, the Insight laboratory, and the effective use of ICT in teaching.
A fascinating and important part of this event was the joint master classes of our young teachers with the trainers of the branch of Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on the topics “Teacher and learner: conflict-free communication”, “Using active methods in teaching”, “Sound and vision adisi arkyly okushylardyn soileu dagdysyn damytu”, “Crossense as an active learning method”, “ICT apps and trend lesson life hacks”, “Using mobile apps to develop oral computing skills”.
As part of ACTIV SPOT, the teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology of Ust-Kamenogorsk city organized an exciting journey into the world of music, art of drawing, dance, vocal, playing the dombra and held art therapy.
Following the event, the trainers of the branch of the Center Teaching Excellence Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city organized a pedagogical battle on the topic “Zertteudi zerttegu bolmaidy”. During the battle, the participants showed high activity and shared their opinions, proving their point of view with motivated arguments.
The Forum resulted in demonstrating a video report of all the activities of the organizers and participants of the event. During feedback, active teachers were awarded Letters of Thanks, all participants received Certificates. The Regional Forum of young teachers will be held annually.
