Results of Regional Debate Tournament “I’m a citizen of my country”

On November 4, 2022, Education Administration of Kazakhstan region held a Regional Debate Tournament “I’m a citizen of my country” among over 25 debate clubs involving more than 50 participants. It took place on the basis of Sh. Ualikhanov School-Lyceum No. 3 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The aim of the Tournament is to develop public-speaking skills, the culture of constructive dialogue and dispute, the art of argumentation.

At the opening ceremony of the Debate Tournament, Acting Head of Education Administration Alima Akylbek welcomed the debaters and wished them success.

The Tournament allowed the participants to demonstrate the skills of system analysis, expressing their own position.

Following the results of the Tournament, the winners and prize-winners are:

Teams with State language:  

I place - Tozan team (Regional Specialized Boarding School-Lyceum for Gifted Children);

II place - Zhiger team (Ulan district);

III place - Phantom team (Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Sh. Ualikhanov School-Lyceum No. 3)

Teams with Russian language:

I place - Mars 08 team (Regional Specialized Boarding School-Lyceum for Gifted Children);

II place - Musya and Pusya team (Regional Specialized IT-School-Lyceum);

III place - Bolashak team (Ridder town).

The winners were awarded cups, diplomas, all participants received certificates.
