Meeting of Regional Association of Teachers of Additional Education Institutions of East Kazakhstan region

On November 3, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, as part of the events, dedicated to the Year of Children, held a meeting of the Regional Association of Teachers of Additional Education Institutions. It was attended by methodologists of District, City Education Departments, directors of additional education institutions, in all 48 people.

The aim of the Meeting is to enhance the prestige of the teaching profession of additional education in the society, increasing the level of professional competence, as well as developing the methodological activity of teachers of additional education.

The following speakers shared their experience during the event:

Arkady A. Isayev, Head of Educational Affairs Unit of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, “On additional education system development of children in East Kazakhstan region”;

Elena V. Sheglova, Headmaster of Children's Music School No. 1 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, “Music laboratory as an innovative form of work in additional music education”;

Galina V. Astashkina, Director of Schoolchildren's Creativity Palace of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, “Skills necessary for learning to live: new challenges for additional education”;

Darkhan K. Kasenov, Headmaster of Zhuldyz Children's School of Arts of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, “Shko Oskemen kalasy Zhuldyz balalar oner mektebinіn zhumys tаzhіrbiesіnen (maselelerі men keleshegі)”;

Raisa A. Tambovtseva, Acting Director of Station of Young Technicians of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, “Applying Steam-technology in additional education.”

The Meeting elected the members, the chair and the secretary of the council of the Regional Association.

The meeting resulted in the approval of the action plan of the Regional Association of Teachers of Additional Education Institutions for 2023, as well as the adoption of recommendations.
