Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Zhaugershilik zamannyn kazak batyrlary: tarikh zhane tagylym”

Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Kazakhstan History Department and Kabanbai Batyr Senior Division at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference called Zhaugershilik zamannyn kazak batyrlary: tarikh zhane tagylym”, dedicated to the 330th anniversary of the Batyr, a talented commander, statesman, diplomat, politician Karakerei Kabanbai.

The aim of the Scientific and Practical Conference is the patriotic education of the younger generation through the popularization of the feat of Karakerei Kabanbai Batyr to be the basis of courage, personifying the feat of our people.

The event began with a flower-laying ceremony at the Kabanbai Batyr Monument.

Then, Mukhtar A. Tolegen, Rector of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Gulmira S. Jakupova, Acting Director of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and Nurlanbek T. Toktabayev, Deputy of the Maslikhat of Ayagoz district of Abai region welcomed the participants of the Conference.

In the plenary part of the Conference, the following experts made presentations:

Nurlan Kenzheakhmet, Research Professor of the Fairbank China Research Center, Harvard University (USA);

Kanat A. Ensenov, a leading researcher of the State History Institute of Astana city, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor;

Bekmurat R. Naimanbayev, Professor of the South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, Doctor of Historical Sciences;

Saken T. Kasenov, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh, Russian Philology and Journalism at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University;

Rishad D. Nugmanov, a senior lecturer of the Kabanbai Batyr Senior Division at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University;

Maratbek K. Akanov, Ph.D., a senior lecturer of the Kazakhstan History Department and Rukhani Zhangyru Department at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

As part of the event at the dialogue platform, the poet from Astana city Aslan Gafurov read an excerpt from the poem “Shorga shaikasy”.

The following experts shared valuable information about the Great Batyr:

Amangeldy Zharasov, a storyteller from Tarbagatai district “Kazak-zhongar shaikasyna katyskan Dauletbai Batyr”;

Adilbek K. Baimollayev, a teacher of History, local history researcher from Ayagoz town, Abai region “Mektep murazhaiy-tarikh shezhiresi”;

Roza S. Cheketayeva, Ph.D., a teacher of History, a teacher-master of K. Nurgaliyev School-Lyceum No. 43 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Kabanbai batyrdy mektepte okytu maselesi”;

Kairat B. Aitkhozhin, a teacher of History, a teacher-researcher of O. Bokei School-Lyceum No. 44 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Educational and Methodological Manual “Kabanbaitanu”;

Kuanysh T. Kabidoldin, a teacher of History, a teacher-master, a master of Abai Secondary School of Education Department of Tarbagatai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Batyr babalar erlikteri arkyly okushylar boiynda otanshyldyk kasiyet kalyptastyru”.

The work of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference continued at sectional meetings in the online format in the directions “Kabanbai batyr erligi tarikh zhazbalarynda”, “Batyr babalar erligi - zhas urpakka amanat”, “Batar baba mangilik”, “Kazak akyn zhyraular shygarmalaryna arkau bolgan Batyr beinesi”.

The Conference was attended by the faculty of universities of Astana, South-Kazakhstan, East-Kazakhstan and Abai regions, subject teachers of secondary schools (in all, 200 people).

During feedback, it was offered to hold the events with schoolchildren of educational institutions of the region, dedicated to the 330th anniversary of Kabanbai Batyr.
