As part of the Year of Children, primary school learners repeated the rules of road safety again.
Child safety is a crucial part in the upbringing of children. Annually, Kazzinc Ltd, jointly with Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and Police Department, conducts the Road to School Campaign. This year, all primary school learners of the region were given colorful guides with the safety rules on the way from home to school in order to avoid traffic accidents.
This action is being held for the third consecutive year. More than 42,000 primary school learners of the region received special double-sided brochures with the road and pedestrian safety rules, as well as how to stay safe on transport, on the street, and how to protect them from viruses. This school year, the guide has become more compact, while not losing its content. Thanks to its convenient size, the printed manual can now be folded to fit in a school diary.
A distinctive feature of the leaflet is the reverse side of the sheet, on which children, together with adults, can draw their way to school and back, indicating places of increased danger. This interactive will allow schoolchildren to better remember the safest route.
This school year, the first owners of leaflets were the learners of Regional Specialized IT School-Lyceum of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region. The organizers of the action came to hand over the guides to the children.
- Kids, parents and teachers very much liked the campaign so that this year we decided to double the circulation and distribute leaflets to all young learners of the region, - said Andrey LAZAREV, Executive Director for Administrative Affairs of Kazzinc Ltd.
- With great pleasure we support such initiatives, because we assign a special place to children's safety in the school curriculum. It is advisable to repeat the rules, as well as practice them! - added the Head of Moral and Spiritual Development, Educational Affairs and Additional Education Department of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region Asem NUSKENOVA.
