About holding the regional round of the Republican School Olympiad in General Disciplines

On 4-7 January, 2020, Daryn East Kazakhstan Research and Methodology Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional round of the Republican School Olympiad in General Disciplines.

About 700 students of grades 9-11 took part in the Olympiad - winners and prize-winners of district / city rounds.

The annual Olympiad was held in 14 subjects of the natural mathematical cycle (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, computer science) and the humanities cycle (Kazakh language and native literature, Kazakh language in schools with Russian language of education, Russian language and literature, Russian language in schools with the Kazakh language of education, English, German, the history of Kazakhstan, Human. Society. Law) on the basis of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University and Zhambyl regional specialized boarding school for gifted children.

The theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the participants were assessed by a competent jury consisting of scientists, professors and doctors of sciences from leading universities of the region.

The awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad was held at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University.

Following the outcomes of 2 rounds of the Olympiad, 367 participants became winners: 75 ones were awarded First-degree diplomas, 124 – Second-degree diplomas, 168 – Third-degree diplomas.

According to the results of the Olympiad, Best Olympic Team-2020 Award went to the teams of Bilim-Innovation Regional Specialized Lyceums of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Semey city.

“Best Rural School - 2020” Award went to Belousov Secondary School No. 1 of Gluboky district and Secondary School No. 1 of Kurchum district were.

Best Rural Student -2020 Award went to Beisenbayeva Asem, a student of grade 10 of Lyceum School of Zhezkent settlement of Borodulikha district and Sadykova Erkezhan, a student of grade 9 of Stepnovskaya Primary School-Kindergarten of Gluboky district.

Also, the absolute winners-graduates in chemistry, biology, English, computer science, physics and mathematics received a special award from Astana International University.

Educational grant holders are:

- Rakhimgaliyev Nurzhan - a student of grade 11 of BILIM-INNOVATION Regional Specialized Lyceum of Semey city;

- Yessenov Sanzhar - a student of grade 11 of BILIM-INNOVATION Regional Specialized Lyceum of Semey city;

- Kadezova Ayazhan - a student of grade 11 of Nurda School-Lyceum of Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

- Baibolov Temirlan - a student of grade 11 of BILIM-INNOVATION Regional Specialized Lyceum of Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

- Makhauin Rasul – a student of grade 11 of BILIM-INNOVATION Regional Specialized Lyceum of Semey city;

- Sovetskazin Alіsher - a student of grade 11 of BILIM-INNOVATION Regional Specialized Lyceum of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The winners with the highest scores will take part in the republican round of the Olympiad.
