Tugan Zher. Tugan El. Tugan Global

On 18-19 May, 2022, a team of schoolchildren from East Kazakhstan region took part in the Republican Subject Online Olympiad entitled “Tugan Zher. Tugan El. Tugan global”, organized by Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The aim of the Olympiad is to identify, develop and support gifted students, to introduce schoolchildren to local history education, to cultivate citizenship, patriotism by stimulating them to study the historical and cultural heritage of the Native Land.

Teams of schoolchildren from Almaty city, Kostanay, Turkestan, East Kazakhstan regions took part in the Olympiad. Schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan region, who have a high potential in studying Kazakhstan’s history, successfully engaged in research and project activities, won the first team place at the Republican Online Olympiad.

According to the results of the Olympiad, 7 students became the winners (First Degree Diplomas - 1, Second Degree Diplomas - 3, Third Degree Diplomas - 3).

First Degree Diploma was awarded to Valsony Lashyn, a 10th grader of Kh. Mustafin School-Lyceum, Zaisan district;

Second Degree Diplomas were awarded to:

– Lyazzat Gazezova, an 11th grader of Zh. Bolganbayev Samar Secondary School-Lyceum, Kokpekty district;

- Khadkan Nazly, an 11th grader of R. Marsekov Secondary School, Ulan district;

- Serikkyzy Akgul, an 11th grader of Abai Specialized Boarding School, Abai district;

Third Degree Diplomas were awarded to:

- Amina Tokanova, an 11th grader of Zh. Bolganbayev Samar Secondary School-Lyceum, Kokpekty district;

- Malikova Akulpa, an 11th grader of Kh. Mustafin School-Lyceum, Zaisan district;

- Myrzakanova Dana, a 10th grader of Secondary School No. 236 of Zharma district.
