Meeting with young teachers - Pedagogical Quest “Labyrinth of Teaching Skills”

A young teacher at school means non-standard ideas, novelty, originality, uniqueness, progressiveness in education.

Young Teacher School is the most important cycle of educational management, a system that creates conditions for the professional and personal growth of a young teacher.

On May 27, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with a branch of the Center for Pedagogical Skills of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Local Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of East Kazakhstan region, Semey Territorial Organization of Trade Union, held a meeting with young teachers in the form of a pedagogical quest called “Labyrinth of Teaching Skills”. It took place on the basis of Abai Humanitarian College, within the framework of the action plan of the Club of Young Teachers “Phoenix” in order to provide organizational and methodological assistance in the development and implementation of modern approaches to the educational process, to promote the acquisition of practical skills necessary for teaching and learning, to attract the intellectual potential of young teachers.

The Pedagogical Quest “Labyrinth of Teaching Skills”, in which the young teachers showed great interest and activity, included the following blocks:

• Meeting team members;
• Resume of a young teacher;
• Emotional drive;
• There is a way out!;
• Formula of teacher's skills.

In the second part of the meeting, the trainers of a branch of the Center for Pedagogical Skills of Ust-Kamenogorsk city showed master classes:

- K.K. Burunbetova “7 methods of differentiation”;

- E.A. Marchenko “How to use points in formative assessment”;

- G.T. Zeinoldina “Inclusive education”;

- V.S. Pak, D.A. Adilzhanova “Emotional State Management”.

The representatives of Local Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of East Kazakhstan region will address the role of the Trade Union in the regulation of social and labor relations of young professionals.

Sokolov I.N., a chief expert of Local Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of East Kazakhstan region briefed on the role of the Trade Union in regulating the social and labor relations of young specialists.

During the event, the results of the work of the Young Teachers’ Club “Phoenix” for the 2021-2022 school year were summed up with adoption of recommendations for the next school year.

In the final part of the meeting with young teachers, the results of the Quest were announced and letters of thanks were given to the winners, all participants received certificates.

The participants noted the high level of the event and expressed their gratitude.

The event was followed by a flash mob under the slogan “Head-to-head dialogue”.

The event was attended by 100 young teachers.
