Results of East Kazakhstan region’s participation in the International Mendeleyev Chemistry Olympiad

On 9-16 May, 2022, as part of the intellectual team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a 10th grader of Bilim-Innovation Regional Specialized Lyceum for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Bekbolat Mamyrbekov took part in the 56th International Mendeleyev Chemistry Olympiad for schoolchildren in Tashkent city of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The team of our Republic was represented by 12 best gifted students – the members of the Olympic Reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan, multiple winners of the Republican, Top International Olympiads.

They competed with the peers from the CIS countries, the Baltic States and South-Eastern Europe.  

According to the results of the Olympiad, Bekbolat Mamyrbekov demonstrated his skills and won a bronze medal.

As part of the Olympiad, a cultural program was organized for gifted children, as well as an excursion around the cities of Samarkand and Tashkent.
