Regional workshop “Autism - problems, diagnosis, methods and correctional techniques”

On May 12, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, on the basis of Y. Altynsarin Secondary School No. 39 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional workshop called “Autism - problems, diagnostics, methods and correctional techniques”, for methodologists of City, District Education Departments in charge of inclusive education, heads of psychological and special education units, deputy headmasters for educational affairs, teachers-assistants, tutors, psychologists, classroom teachers.

A.K. Kubentayeva, a methodologist-psychologist of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region spoke about a new publication, developed for teachers and parents in working with ASD children “Erekshe balalar. Problemaly minez-kulykty tuzetu kagidalary men autizm spektrindegi buzylystar zhane baska da damu erekshelіkterі bar balalardy uiretu strategiyalary”;

Expert teachers of Asyl Miras Children’s Autism Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city: V.M. Tarasova, G. G. Amantayeva, acquainted with the peculiarities of organizing the work of ASD children in the conditions of the Autism Center;

a defectologist of Secondary School No. 15 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. T. Moldakasymova shared her experience on the topic “Autistic spectrum buzylystary bar balalardy zhalpy bilim beretin mektepte psychologiyalyk-pedagogikalyk suyemeldeu”;

teachers-experts of Y. Altynsarin Secondary School No. 39 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region: A. K. Bekpaukova, M. M. Rakhimzhanova, K. K. Zhanatbekova, A. E. Abdrakhmanova, K. S. Murzakhozhina showed their experience in inclusive education on the basis of a comprehensive school.

In all, 50 teachers of education institutions of the region took part in this event and received certificates.
