Final Round of the Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad

The second round of the Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad was held among school students of grades 5-6 of rural schools of the region, as part of implementing the El Umiti Initiative.

The Olympiad is held annually to create conditions for the development and support of talents and abilities of schoolchildren from rural areas.  

The Olympiad took place on April 28, 2022. More than 10,000 schoolchildren of our region, students of grades 5-6 of rural schools, have been registered on the online platform. According to the results of the I Round, 340 participants successfully advanced to the II Round of the Olympiad.

The Final Round was held on the basis of U-Study Testing Centers of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Semey city and Ayagoz town, and Ulken Naryn settlement.

The Olympiad was held in the format of computer testing to identify academic abilities in the following subjects: Mathematics; Kazakh language; Russian language; English language; Natural Science.

The winners who finished the 6th grade and who gained the highest scores, are given the opportunity to continue their education in specialized schools for gifted children of the region and the Republic in accordance with the quotas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
