It was very interesting to listen to the story of Alibek Kantarbayev about Oralkhan Bokei, with whom he was personally acquainted.
Arimbek Masalov told about the history of writing the song “Kazakhstan-Kazakh Elim”, which became the hallmark of our vocalists. It was with this song that the vocal-pop group NIS of Ust-Kamenogorsk won several prizes in Republican competitions.
The students asked Kalkaman Sarin to evaluate the works of contemporary poets. The poet replied that “Poetry is multifaceted, like any kind of art, it must move with the times, and there will be a reader for each work.”
