Regional workshop “Applying modern technologies while teaching children with special educational needs”

On April 20, 2022, in Semey city, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Special Boarding School No. 5 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional workshop called “Applying modern technologies while teaching children with special educational needs”, as part of the Year of Children.  

The goal of the workshop is to create conditions for the further development of the educational process, forming a high level of professional competence of teachers based on the introduction of modern technologies.

Headmasters and teachers of special boarding schools of the region took part in the work of the workshop.

In the practical part of the workshop, the teachers of Special Boarding School No. 5 of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region showed master classes on conducting group, integrated, panoramic, game lessons, travel lessons, relay races and project presentation. For students of grades 7-10 with SEN, an extra-curricular event “Speech hour: What? Where? When?” took place.  

The workshop was followed by a roundtable. At the end, the learners of the boarding school organized a musical greeting to the participants of the workshop.
