Regional Competition of Business Projects “Business as a key to self-realization”

On April 20, 2022, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of East Kazakhstan region, Kazakh-American Free University, Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance held the annual regional competition of business projects called “Business as a key to self-realization” among schoolchildren and students of the TVE system, dedicated to the Year of FOLK ART and Cultural Heritage of the CIS. It was held in accordance with the action plan of the Center for Vocational Education of East Kazakhstan region.

The goal of the Competition is to stimulate entrepreneurial initiatives of secondary school students and college students.

The regional competition included 7 nominations: Green start-up, Social initiatives, Tourism, Agroeconomics, Creative business idea, IT, Trade business.

To participate in the competition, 53 applications were submitted from 23 schools and 30 educational institutions of the technical and vocational education system from 8 districts and 3 cities of the region.

Highly qualified experts from the Regional Council of Business Women of Atameken on East Kazakhstan region, Tourist Association of East Kazakhstan, KAB SYSTEMS LLP, NGO Community of Women's Initiatives of Ust-Kamenogorsk city NIET WOMAN, etc.  were invited to evaluate the projects.  

Participants and winners of the Competition, their mentors were awarded Certificates of Participation, Diplomas of 1, 2, 3 Degrees, as well as valuable gifts from the sponsors of the event.
