International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ultymyzdyn ustazy - Akhmet Baitursynuly”
On April 19, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Ultymyzdyn Ustazy - Akhmet Baitursynuly”, as part of the Nationwide Plan for Preparing and Holding Events, dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov - poet, scientist, Turkologist, translator, teacher, publicist, public figure, founder of national culture.
The goal of the Scientific and Practical Conference is to popularize the heritage of Akhmet Baitursynov, to get familiar with the stages of life of the Teacher of the Nation.
The Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region Sairangul A. Zhumadilova welcomed the Conference participants.
The following representatives of the faculty of Foreign and Kazakh Universities took part in the plenary part of the event:
- Nergis Biray, Professor, Doctor, Turkish Languages and Literature Department, Pamukkale University, Turkey, with the report “Alaş Fikirlerinin Yansıtıcısı Kazak Gazetesi ve Ahmet Baytursınulı”, “Kazakh Gazeti” zhane Akhmet Baitursynuly”;
- Vitaly A. Skopa, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Head of Philosophy and Culturology Department, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Altai State Pedagogical University, Barnaul, Russian Federation on “The Kazak Newspaper in the social and political life of Kazakhstan”;
- Murat Eszhan, a holder of the Bolashak International Scholarship, screenwriter of the ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY (USA), director-screenwriter of the television series “Akhmet. Ult Ustazy”;
- Raikhan S. Imakhanbet, Head of Akhmet Baitursynov Memorial House-Museum, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National Universityon “A.Baitursynuly murasynyn zerttelui men zerdelenui”;
- Absadyk Almasbek Akhmetuly, Doctor of Philology, A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, Acting Head of the Project Office “Rukhani Zhangyru” and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on “A.Baytursynuly zhane auyl mektepteri”;
- Maira S. Ibraimova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Medical University of Semey city on “Alashtyn Uly Ustazy”;
In the sectional part: “Til - adamnyn adamdyk belgisinin zory, zhumsaityn karuynyn biri”; “Balam degen el bolmasa, elim degen bala kaidan shygady...”, “Akku, shortan һam shayan...”, “Baskadan kem bolmas ushіn bіlіmdі, bai һam kushti bolu kerek..” - was attended by Heads of Education Departments, methodologists, classroom teachers and subject teachers of general secondary education institutions (Kazakh language and literature, History, Russian language, English, Chemistry and Biology, primary school teachers) of Education Administration of Aktobe, Zhambyl, Akmola, East Kazakhstan regions, Shymkent, Almaty cities, experts of Orleu Centre of East Kazakhstan region.
The conference demonstrated that the works of A. Baitursynov are an inexhaustible treasury, his ideas are of great importance for the development of modern Kazakh Pedagogy.
