Workshop “Providing schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan region with balanced nutrition for 2021-2023”

On April 15, 2021, a regional workshop was held with the participation of specialists from Education Departments, members of the Quality-Control Commission and interdepartmental expert groups, parents of schoolchildren, as part of the Action Plan for 2021-2023 to implement the Roadmap to provide schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan region with balanced nutrition.

More than 100 people took part in this workshop.

During the event, the Head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Sector of the region - Bakhyt K. Dyrymbayeva briefed on “Organization of high-quality nutrition for schoolchildren in school canteens and food-born disease prevention” and answered questions.

Furthermore, Rufiya V. Fainullayeva, a specialist of Education Department of Semey city, shared her experience in organizing the work of Quality-Control Commissions in schools, where issues related to the activities of this commission were discussed.

A methodologist of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city - Anna V. Kuzmitskaya spoke about the activity of interdepartmental expert groups.

The participants of the workshop received full information on the issues of meals organized in the school canteens.
