On April 12, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with the National Institute for Harmonious Human Development, held a methodological workshop called: “Implementing the Pilot Project Program “Mektep (balabaksha, college) - suiyspenshilik mekeni” for 2021-2024 to create an educational system in educational institutions based on moral and spiritual education “Self-knowledge”. Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College of Ust-Kamenogorsk city hosted the workshop. The goal of the workshop is to provide methodological assistance to teachers of the pilot educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region in strengthening the spiritual and moral content of the education and upbringing system. The workshop was attended by subject teachers, teachers of Self-Knowledge, psychologists and social teachers of the pilot education institutions of East Kazakhstan region. The speakers of the workshop: N.Zh. Bektemisova, S.B. Estayeva, experts of Scientific and Methodological Department of the National Institute for Harmonious Human Development briefed on the topic “Implementing the Pilot Project Program “Mektep (balabaksha, college) - suiyspenshilik mekeni”; G.M. Akhmetkaliyeva, head of department, a teacher of Self-Knowledge of Abai East-Kazakhstan Humanitarian College on “College - suiyspenshilik mekeni”; L.N. Khamitsevich, a teacher of Self-Knowledge of Secondary School No. 2 of Education Department of Ridder town of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Progress report and prospects (2021-2024)”; N.M. Rakhymbayeva, a teacher of Self-Knowledge of Markakol Secondary School No.1 of Education Department of Kurchum district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “Mektep–suіyspenshіlіk mekenі”. In the second part of the workshop, trainings were held by the Institute's researchers. The participants were divided into 5 groups and worked on five topics: Factors of family well-being, Peculiarities to create an educational system at school (kindergarten, college), Creating a prosperous environment at school (kindergarten, college), Modeling of the educational system, Developing humane relations between the subjects of the educational process. Following the workshop, methodological assistance was provided and recommendations were given on the way to implement the pilot project “Mektep (balabaksha, college) - suiyspenshilik mekeni”.

The goal of the workshop is to provide methodological assistance to teachers of the pilot educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region in strengthening the spiritual and moral content of the education and upbringing system.

The workshop was attended by subject teachers, teachers of Self-Knowledge, psychologists and social teachers of the pilot educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region.

The work of the workshop continued in 4 facilitation sessions “How to create a prosperous environment in a team of educational institutions”, “Factors negatively affecting the formation of a prosperous environment for adolescents in modern conditions and ways to prevent them”, “Forms of work with parents to create a family prosperous environment”, “Methods to create a favorable environment in the group.”

Following the workshop, methodological assistance was provided and recommendations were given on the way to implement the pilot project “Mektep (balabaksha, college) - suiyspenshilik mekeni”.
