Open Day “On a way to a successful school: search and practice”

On March 25, 2022, in accordance with the plan of the spring holiday school of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, Y. Altynsarin Gymnasium No. 37 of Education Department of Semey city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an Open Day for headmasters of district secondary schools called “On a way to a successful school: search and practice”.

The goal is to exchange effective practical experience of the teaching staff of the Gymnasium based on modern methods and educational practices in the educational process.

The program of the meeting included 3 sections: in the plenary part, the headmaster of the school Zhanat Z. Malgazhdarova welcomed and briefed the participants on the school’s history, the concept of the gymnasium development, the key indicators to identify the efficient result-oriented learning: the quality of education, final assessment and the progress of owners of gold marks of distinction for the last 3 years as well as receiving a grant in the amount of KZT34 million at the competition “Best institution of secondary education – 2021.

In Section 1 “Changes in education and training as a basis of innovation” Deputy Headmaster for Innovation G.M. Zhumaksanova, a teacher of Mathematics A.S. Soltanayeva, and a teacher of Kazakh language S.B. Tuleubayeva noted the impact of applied courses in achieving high quality education at the final assessment of graduates, with a program of applied courses.  

In Section 2 “Model of innovation - additional education”, in order to exchange the work experience of hobby groups in organizing the educational process, the leaders of the hobby groups L. S. Oryngozhina, K. K. Zhakenova, G. M. Mukhamediyeva, Zh. T. Toktybayeva, Abay Alemi Club, K. O. Bitibayeva Laboratory, hobby groups of robotics and local history.

The possibilities of integrated teaching of the subject and language in the conditions of trilingual education (CLIL method) were shared by the deputy headmasters for Educational and Methodological Afairs Zh.K. Baimaganbet, R.O. Karmysova and teachers: G.T. Toleubayeva, N.A. Abishev, V. E. Azizova, A. Zh. Arkhymatayeva, S. K. Nugmarova, G. M. Agybayeva.

In Section 3 “Sport as a national treasure”, the leaders of the sport sections togyzkumalak, asyk atu, chess, tennis S.O. Talasbayeva, T.K. Abdygalymov, B.G. Imangaliyev, A.N. Akanov showed the work of the sport sections.  

The participants thanked the organizers and wished the school staff further success in their professional activities.
