Online workshop on sharing practices of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of Semey city on the projects “School, Parent, Family”

On March 25, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the action plan of the spring holiday school, held a regional online workshop on sharing practices of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of Semey city on the ongoing projects “School, parent, family”.

The goal of the event is to familiarize teachers of schools of regions with a new format of interaction between schools and parents aimed at enhancing the responsibility of both schools and parents for raising children based on the experience of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.

The workshop was attended by: methodologists of District and City Education Departments in charge of educational affairs, deputy headmasters of schools for educational affairs, counselors, social teachers, classroom teachers, psychologists. In all, 300 teachers joined the Zoom and YouTube channel.  

The speakers-teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of Semey city - Larisa O. Abylkasimova, deputy headmaster for educational affairs and teachers-organizers-mentors: Dinara T. Folmer and Nazerke T. Orynbekova, teachers-psychologists: Marina A. Kochetova and Aliya S. Zholamanova shared their experience in implementing the projects “School, parent, family”, “Strong family”, “We are just a family”, “Parents University”, aimed at involving parents in school life, teaching parents on various aspects of family education.  

The participants of the workshop showed great interest in the implementation of projects on early career guidance for schoolchildren and thanked the speakers and organizers for the meaningful event.
