Regional workshop “School Socio-Psychological Service’s activities to prevent learners’ self-destructive behavior”

On March 24, 2022, according to the plan of the spring holiday school, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop called “School Socio-Psychological Service’s activities to prevent learners’ self-destructive behavior” for methodologists of District, City Education Departments in charge of Psychological Services, teachers-psychologists, in all 100 people.

S.T. Nurkanova, Deputy Director of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region welcomed the participants of the event.

The workshop presented the experience of Marina V. Borodina, a teacher-psychologist of Altynsarin Secondary School No. 39 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Parental strategies as a key to child's success”;

Indira T. Tagiyeva, s pedagogue-psychologist of Mayakovsky Secondary School of Education Department of Zharma district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Key forms and directions of work with adolescents to form positive thinking, suicide prevention, work with children at risk.”

The event was followed by feedback where the participants expressed their opinion on the topic, shared their experience and noted the relevance of the workshop.
