Regional online webinar “Leadership and management in a small-size school”

On March 24, 2022, in accordance with the annual plan, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online webinar called “Leadership and management in a small-size school” for headmasters, deputy headmasters for educational affairs of small-size schools of districts of the region.

The goal of the workshop is to examine, generalize and disseminate practices in small-size school management to organize the educational process and effective ways to improve the education quality.

The workshop shared their experience of Galiya Ch. Kapanova, headmaster of Aksu Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Bilim beru mazmunyn zhanartu zhagdaiynda shagyn zhinakty mekteptі baskaru”;

Alfiya S. Manapova, headmaster of Privolnoe Secondary School of Education Department of Ulan district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “Innovative methods and approaches to develop small-size schools”;

Maksat D. Egizbayev, headmaster of Kurchum Secondary School No. 5 of Education Department of Kurchum district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region “ShZhM-te zhoba zhumysy artkyly mugalіmder men okushylardyn koshbasshylygyn damytu”.   

Within the framework of the workshop, the participants received methodological assistance on how to develop the educational plan in small-size schools, discussed the current problems in school records keeping, organizing the educational process and developing the leadership of teachers and learners within the framework of the project work.

The webinar was followed by feedback where the speakers answered participants’ questions and summed up the workshop.  

The event was attended by headmasters, deputy headmasters for educational affairs, in all 100 people.
