Regional online workshop “Educational management in educational institutions: a set of leadership tools”

Educational management is based on subject-related system, aimed at achieving the goals of education with the help of a set of methods, means, techniques and principles.

On March 17, 2022, according to the annual plan, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online workshop called “Educational management in educational institutions: a set of leadership tools”.

The goal is to improve the professional skills of leaders of educational institutions in the managerial, organizational, innovative and methodological areas, to improve the education quality by improving the management of the educational process.

The workshop was attended by heads of Methodological Units of District (City) Education Departments, headmasters.

Today, management in education is a system of approaches and techniques, forms, principles and methods, aimed at improving the efficiency of the education system. The functions of management in education are organization, planning, motivation and control.

The speakers of the workshop:

Laura B. Berishova, a senior researcher of Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education, on distributed leadership at school, creating and strengthening the potential to enhance leadership.

Gulmira A. Kurganbayeva, Director of the Ulttyk Ustaz Online Academy on “Transformation of managers of the education system in 2022: there is no looking back.” She voiced the key trends in the training of leaders, managerial problems and approaches to the formation of the competencies of managers in educational institutions of Kazakhstan;

Gulfiya O. Berekpolova, a senior lecturer of East Kazakhstan regional branch office of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on “VUKA World: Challenges of Modern Educational Management”: the portrait of a modern manager, challenges and requirements of VUKA world.

The workshop was followed by feedback where the speakers answered the questions of the participants and summed up the meeting.
