Regional workshop “Training professional staff on a modular-competence-based approach”

On March 03, 2022, in order to generalize and disseminate the best pedagogical experience, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the action plan of the Regional Methodological Service Association of Educators, jointly with Business and Service College, held a regional workshop called “Training professional staff on a modular-competence-based approach” for educators of special disciplines and masters of industrial training in the specialty “Catering”.  

The workshop demonstrated open classes of the following educators of special disciplines and masters of industrial training: G.M. Dairova (“Sanitary requirements to prepare the selling area of catering facilities”); A.K. Tursunbayeva (“Rules for serving second hot dishes”); P.R. Akanova (“Wine decantation”); A.A. Rsaliyeva (“Serving second courses, serving sweet dishes and desserts. Serving tea and coffee”); D.B. Kakimova (“Business project”); Zh.Zh. Razbekova (“Financial plan of business project”).

It should be noted that all open classes were held at a high professional level.

Furthermore, an excursion was organized for the participants, who toured the work shops of the Competence Center, saw its up-to-date equipment meeting Worldskills international standards, as part of the Zhas Maman Project.

More than 40 college educators took part in the workshop.

The workshop resulted in adoption of relevant recommendations.
