Regional workshop “Conscious Parenting”

On March 3, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a workshop called “Conscious parenting” for methodologists of District and City Education Departments in charge of Psychological Services, teachers-psychologists of educational organizations of the region, involving 200 people. It took place as part of implementing the Roadmap of the Party Project “Nur Otan - Bakytty Otbasy” - the opening of the courses “Conscious parenting” on the basis of all educational institutions.

A.A. Isayev, Head of Educational Affairs Unit of Shygys Regional Center, welcomed the participants of the event.  

During the workshop, A.K. Kubentayeva, a methodologist-psychologist of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, informed of the goals and objectives, and the ways to implement the course “Conscious Parenting”.

The workshop presented the experience of:

- Elena B. Gutova, a methodologist of Socio-Psychological Service of Schoolchildren’s Palace of Creativity of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, a trainer of parent groups on “Features of the course “Conscious parenting”, its differences from other forms of work with parents”, “Methods and forms of involving parents in the courses “Conscious parenting”;

- Olga S. Parfenova, a teacher-psychologist of School-Lyceum of Altai town of Education Department of Altai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region on “General recommendations for the course”, “Methods and forms of involving parents in the courses “Conscious parenting”.

The workshop resulted in adopting the recommendations on the ways to organize the course “Conscious Parenting”.
