Outcomes of regional workshop for psychologists of Regional Specialized Schools for Gifted Children on Qabilet Service

On March 2, 2022, Daryn East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development held a regional workshop on the basis of the Qabilet Service for educational psychologists of specialized schools, as part of the El Umiti Initiative, in order to train school psychologists in methods to identify the abilities and analyzing the results of schoolchildren of 10-11 years of age in carrying out the 1st step, as well as organizing support services of gifted children, in order to realize their intellectual and personal potential.

The psychologists of the Service briefed the workshop participants on the theoretical and methodological lines of the Service's activities, the famous and author's methods to diagnose the abilities and methods for interpreting the results, as well as instructions for working in the student's personal account.

The participants noted the methodological usefulness of the workshop and offered the topics for the next workshops.

At the conclusion, the participants were awarded certificates of Completion of the workshop.
