Results of Regional Remote Internet Competition “Local history meeting: Great discoveries of small homeland”, dedicated to arts and crafts, cultural heritage of the CIS

On February 24-25, 2022, the Regional Remote Internet Competition called “Local History Meeting: Great Discoveries of small homeland” was held in order to familiarize schoolchildren with local history and environmental education, research and environmental activities, the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Native Land, studying small homeland.

The Competition was attended by 78 students of grades 7-9 of general education schools of the region, out-of-school institutions of additional education - winners and prize-winners of the qualifying rounds.

Competition nominations:

- “CIS: historical memory and new generation. Historical essay” - competition of historical essays;

- “Sacred geography of East Kazakhstan: cultural heritage sites of the Commonwealth” - discovering the Native Land, generalization and systematization of local history materials, mapping the cultural heritage sites of the CIS;

- “Exhibition of Arts and Crafts” - a creative competition of hand made products: a product made of natural material, carving and painting, embroidery, lace, crochet, patchwork plastic, embroidery with ribbons, beads, beadwork, etc.

According to the jury members, 40 participants became winners and prize-winners: 9 students won the First Degree Diplomas, 13 students won the Second Degree Diplomas, 18 students won the Third Degree Diplomas. The other participants will be awarded certificates.
