Regional workshop “Methodological support and practical assistance to teachers when preparing for qualification of engineering and pedagogical staff” for methodologists of TVE institutions of East Kazakhstan region

On January 25, 2022, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online regional workshop for methodologists of TVET institutions of East Kazakhstan region on the topic “Methodological support and practical assistance to teachers when preparing for qualification of engineering and pedagogical staff” with the participation of methodologists of East Kazakhstan Center for Vocational Education.

Goal: to develop recommendations for the Methodological Services of colleges on how to prepare engineering and teaching staff for qualification.  

During the workshop, the participants got acquainted with the regulatory documentation for the qualification of college teachers, the list of basic requirements for the provision of public services, the criteria for evaluating the portfolio of teachers of TVE institutions to assign/confirm a qualification category, etc.

When summing up the outcomes of the workshop, the participants of the event noted the importance of targeted methodological support while preparing for college teachers’ qualification.  

More than 70 methodologists of TVE institutions of East Kazakhstan region participated in the workshop.
